My mom came to visit me this week at college. It is so nice to see her! I attempted to pick her up at the airport, which was quite the experience. Let's just say that I am not the best driver in the world, there are always many memorable incidents that occurs when I am driving. But needless to say I did eventually find the airport and picked her up!
After I picked her up, I showed her the campus and then we started to begin our road trip to Indiana, which is where my grandparents live.

Our first stop on the road trip, was Upper Krust, which is bakery/restaurant. I always heard good things about Upper Krust, so I decided to take my mom there. We bought this delicious apple crumble pie and brought it to Indiana to share with my grandparents. If you are a foodie, like myself, go to Upper Krust and try some desserts. I encourage you to try something new, you never know what you might like!

We are now in Indiana until Saturday, and are having a wonderful time visiting relatives. I'll try to keep you updated as my "personal vacation" continues.

Saturdays for a college student is a day to sleep in, hang out with friends, and of course catch up on homework. Tonight my friends and I decided to go to a local coffee shop to work on some homework and to enjoy the time off campus. I absolutely love coffee shops, something about the atmosphere gets me relaxed and focused on what I have to get done, especially when drinking a pumpkin chai latte.

Today was a beautiful Fall day in Wisconsin. After a long day of classes, I finally was heading back to my dorm when I realized the bright red, orange, and yellow leaves shining from the trees. Once I got back to my dorm, I went outside and took some pictures of the train track with the leaves in the background. I absolutely love Fall it is one of my favorite seasons of all time. I think during our busy days we need to stop and look at the beautiful scenery God has given us.
